Scope and defined terms
Jane Communications is a private operational-alert system operated by Jane Ullah. It is not a public messaging service.
Owner and Jane mean Jane Ullah. She is the sole proprietor, administrator, only person who can enroll, and only intended recipient of alerts.
An operational alert reports an event from a connected system that Jane authorizes the service to use. Calls use separately authorized instructions and context. The SMS program sends texts at the owner’s request and event-driven operational notifications only to the enrolled owner. Examples include a monitored server or personal application becoming unavailable, a security check detecting an issue, communications-service spending reaching a configured threshold, new voicemail, and receipt of a new message on the service number. Operational alerts may originate from monitoring systems or service-provider email notifications. Only enabled, owner-authorized sources trigger alerts. Notifications summarize the relevant event; they do not forward full email or inbound message bodies, attachments, or third-party links. A verified destination is a phone number that Jane has confirmed she controls.
This policy applies only to information processed for Jane's operation and use of Jane Communications. It does not describe a public subscriber or customer program because no other person can enroll or receive alerts.
Information used
Jane Communications may use Jane's verified destination, consent status, selected alert rules, limited event metadata, alert content, and the minimum context needed to deliver an operational alert. Third-party communications, hosting, and security providers may create delivery, call, and security records while operating their parts of the service.
How information is used
Information is used to process the operational events described above, place calls or deliver text alerts to Jane's verified destination, provide help, honor Jane's opt-out requests, protect the service, investigate failures, and meet legal or carrier requirements.
Message frequency varies with matching events. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and sharing
Jane's mobile number, message content, and messaging consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information is disclosed only to providers that are necessary to operate communications, hosting, security, and delivery, or when law requires disclosure.
ALERTS requests enrollment details and does not subscribe the owner. After reading the disclosure reply, Jane sends CONFIRM within 24 hours to agree to the stated messages. The service records that affirmative reply with the exact disclosures, policy version, sender and recipient, message identifiers, and timestamps before issuing an enrollment receipt. Requested texts and enabled operational alerts require this recorded consent. No additional human approval is required for each alert. Withdrawal and delivery events are retained as private evidence. Consent is not transferable to another sender.
Retention
Information is kept only as long as needed for the requested communication, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, or carrier compliance. Retention periods can differ because communications providers keep some operational records under their own policies.
Choices
Jane can reply STOP to opt out of text messages and HELP for help. Jane may also request access, correction, or deletion of her information by contacting hello@jane101.com. Some provider or legal records may need to be retained.
Security
Jane Communications uses access controls, scoped credentials, encrypted transport, monitoring, and cost controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
No person other than Jane can enroll. The service is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
